Interesting #fact#NaturalHealing “Forest bathing” (a Japanese practice known as Shinrin-yoku) exposes us to chemicals called phytoncides. These compounds protect trees from insects and bacteria, but when we inhale them, they have amazing benefits for our health and well-being.

One key phytoncide is alpha-pinene, found in pine, spruce, and fir trees. It has anti-inflammatory effects and can improve respiratory health while also promoting relaxation.
