It’s really appalling just how little this type of rhetoric is covered for what it is. Full fascism and racism on display but being viewed as a sensible policy solution because we have to do “both sides have points” media coverage now.

I have a conservative father who says he won’t vote for trump but is totally cool with this stuff because he earnestly believes it could never happen. And like when you vote for politicians that say this shit, they generally assume you’re okay with it happening.
