I can believe it. Out campaigning in a Labour area for the NHS, the number of people who are taken in by Farage is alarming. The thing we hear often is he can't do any worse than the current lot. And there's no trying to convince them otherwise.
I would add the acceptance of freebies too. A peer I heard speak said he was one of the few who refused to accept gifts. Also, how the APPGs are funded needs looking at. Vested interests are all over Westminster, not just MPs.
