Another one: I liked Kaoru Hana wa Rin to Saku initially but it's been losing steam for the last 40 chapters. It seems the author just has to dedicate an entire arc to find each character their perfect little bourgeoisie job and make them into perfect citizens (1/2)

The guy wanting to become a cop ESPECIALLY sucks. Not only because of the usual problems with cops, but it's a very relevant plot point that the school the boys go to is notorious for having delinquents and marginalized folks. And yet NO ONE ever even MENTIONS this conflict? Bullshit. (2/2)
