Seeing how much easier it has been to sell my more generic furniture ahead of my impending move, while my favorite piece of furniture is yet unsold, I suppose I can see how home renovations can start hurtling towards blandness. But I still plan to surround myself with items that bring me joy
Gannet!
You are a wiser person than I am! Great picture :) Here's one I took the rescue center -- might even be same heron that almost got me.
Now I'm really curious about what model poses to look for as red flags. I had no idea that was a thing!
It was really a close call -- thanks to the last-second flinch, I got cut by the beak between the eyes instead of in the eyes. Not very deep, but with how much facial wounds bleed, it looked like I belonged in a horror movie 😬 Got patched up in the vet room.
Under no circumstances disregard this! I once skipped the safety glasses when volunteering in wildlife rescue, handling a heron that was very weak. If I hadn't flinched when it stabbed at my face it would have taken out my eyes. Supervisor was rightfully pissed at me, I never skipped glasses again.
I've spent the last week on pack triage ahead of a US to UK move, and it is really *absurdly* draining. The temptation to just throw it all in and make it the problem of future me was very strong, but I'm already cursing past me for doing that the last move.
Reminder to all fellow bis: that sneaky heist you had scheduled for today needs to be rescheduled.
If sweaters are an option, I'd picture ones with a lower v-neck cut than the typical male cut, and more female coded colors.
