I also liked the ending of Bad Buddy, but we do seem to be in the minority. I watched in real time and I was just SO relieved and happy when the reveal hit.

I figured we might be! That was one that where as long as the ending was happy I probably would not have fussed too much about the content any which way it landed. It was also only like the second or 3rd gmmtv show I watched, so I wonder how it would land for me if I could rewatch with fresh eyes.
