Untrue food thing #1: Local food is more climate-friendly. Transport is a very small part (5-10%) of a foodâs GHG footprint. Growing food efficiently easily trumps growing it locally. Growing on large farms, in places with good weather, is most efficient. ourworldindata.org/food-choice-...
