Here is a little fan art I made of the characters in 'House on the Cerulean Sea' by T.J Klune <3 "A cosy, enchanting story about the profound experience of discovering an unlikely family in an unexpected place – and realizing that family could be yours." I was fully enchanted by these characters <3

seven characters stand together in a dreamy fairytale-like setting. from left to right we have: a caucasian boy in blue shorts and a red t-shirt, stomping his foot, emitting flames. then we have a little blue dragon-like creature holding a brass button in his mouth. the dragon creature is sat on the shoulder of a large older looking boy who is quite shy. he is wearing a yellow shirt and blue pants and has dark skin. on the boys other shoulder is a green tentacled monster with red lips and elevated eyes like a snail. the monster is also resting on the shoulder of an orange haired girl with fairy wings. she is tanned and has patches of mud and leaves on her shirt and skin. her arm is resting on the hat of a garden gnome, who is holding a garden shovel with an air of menace. lastly a charcoal coloured cat is weaving around the fairy's leg.
