I'm in Nuuk #Greenland#climate conference and UN Ocean 🌊 decade meeting this week. My first visit here was in 2009 for the first Nuuk climate days. It's wild how fast things have changed, both in the town, which has now grown to fully 20,000 people and in terms of the science.⚒️ 1/9

keep thinking about my student last year from asheville who read that investors were buying up property there in expectation of it becoming a climate migration destination and she wrote her final paper about how that doesn't seem quite right given its flood risk history and maps like this one

Mine nuvĂŚrende lĂŚsebriller virker faktisk ikke til at lĂŚse, ikke til skĂŚrm, ikke til at se ud af vinduet. Men de virker til at brygge kaffe og til at bĂŚre storskrald ned.
