Oh I feel you and I'm sorry you have to go through this. I hope you can be kind to yourself just as you would be to someone else when it happened to them (because one way or another it happens to all of us). Sending you hugs and strength and whatever helps right now! 💜

Great topics! So relevant as well. They'll probably stay relevant for a long time as more people need to hear and learn more about them and act on the insights gained (me, I'm among these people)

@the-qa-guy.bsky.social not sure how Bluesky handles threads and if you received a notification as I've answered my own post, so pinging you just in case you didn't 😅

Ooh nice, and that can be a challenge, too! Folks can be fortunate to hear more of your wisdom though 💜

By the way - the offer goes both ways! Happy to be your test audience in whatever form is useful to you :)

Oh my, that's really tough... 🫥 Thank you! I might come back to that in October when it evolved further 😊 Luckily I have two opportunities for dry runs already - I might need more though. Thanks to your message I finally took the courage to try it yesterday... 70 min... 🙈 I got work to do 😅

Didn't dare to try mine yet - too often ended up at 58 min out of 25 for new talks... 🫠🙈 oh and: 32 min are likely to be fine in the end; and yet, fingers crossed for getting it down within boundaries for that lovely peace of mind 🤞🏻

I love visual models! & your iceberg model! Adding to those thoughts - it's a lot about pay. When I got my first programming job in 1982, it was a low-status, low-paid job. Lots of women. When software became more important than hardware, pay went up, men got the jobs. I hate the patriarchy.

Many thanks to all organizers, facilitators, and participants who literally co-create this - whatever happens is the only thing that could have and it was once again a blast this year. ❤️
