Some bowls that survived all the way to the glazing stage! Some of them are actually flower pots with draining holes. Get to pick up more of the last of them tomorrow. This was a fun class.
My pots exploded in the kiln this week :( They seemed dry even by my instructor's standards. We're thinking I made the base too thick, and it still had water, even if the outside was bone dry.
I really miss the days when I could just look at cool art and go "wow, cool" and share it instead of having to be an investigative detective every day.
It's only day two, and I am devouring this book. Two girlfriends want to run away together and open a tea shop and bookstore together, and its so cute.
I bought more watercolors. My hobby is just collecting pretty art supplies at this point.
