I think my housemates dog can see the future or read minds. If I go to the kitchen and open the fridge by default she will not come see me. If I go with the intent of getting cheese she will be there before the door opens. I have no other explanations.

Maybe you emit a scent when you're craving cheese? That, or perhaps when you're full of cheese (like me), you emit non-cheese seeking scents. 🤔
