It's amazing how many people believe that, in effect, seeing a sentence like "There were 13 British colonies that formed the United States" repeated in different papers constitutes "plagiarism". All of this nonsense refers to simple descriptions of basic facts, not to anything requiring originality.

Whoops! I should have said "...*claim* to believe that...". Because they do NOT believe it. They are, to plagiarize a bit myself, "lying liars who lie".
