So apparently MNS was really keen to do this movie, it was his kids' fave series, it meant a lot to them. And then Nicola Peltz's dad, the Snapple Billionaire (who recently tried to save Disney from the woke agenda) essentially bought her the lead role. And MNS aggressively stopped caring.
For the record, as of yesterday, we have recorded Antimatter Pod episodes covering all of season 2 of Prodigy. I think we might overlap with Lower Decks for a week, but we're far enough ahead on recording and editing that we'll get both series done.
My favourite part of that movie is the big earthbending sequence where the camera pans along and you can see the stunt doubles in the background waiting until they're in shot.
I finished playing Dragon's Dogma 2 yesterday, MUCH sooner than I expected, so I guess for once I won't be turning up late to a new Dragon Age game with Starbucks, going, "Oh, were people mad about that narrative choice? Gosh."
Anyway, I can do most tasks without issue, I have a brace, and I think I deserve some sort of prize for coming into work despite this mild inconvenience.
Good news, I'm pretty confident my thumb's not injured. Bad news, the issue is in my wrist? I think it's a VERY mild sprain, I caught myself in a fall the other day and went, "Wow, I almost sprained something!"
Could I have sprained it without noticing? Thumbs are basically the ankles of the hands, so it's not outside the realm of possibility. I'm typing with an icepack on my hand. It's not easy! No, I cannot stop! All my hobbies involve my hands!
I've had a really ordinary Sunday. I recorded a podcast, called my mum, did the ironing, painted a plaster pumpkin to resemble Chappell Roan, played video games. And this evening, in the middle of an episode of ER, I found my thumb too painful to scoop ice cream.
