It is culture.. but it is specific to a VERY specific privileged class, hence classism. This is literally practiced cruelty against an animal for sport, and MOST of modern society has already decried this as inhumane, cruel and has been made illegal in many places.

Well if it’s illegal (England & Scotland) how do they control the population? I’ve jut gone down a (fox) hole in search of info & they can have up to 12 in a litter & with the extinction of their wolf, have no natural predators. I don’t believe they should be cruelly torn apart fyi
