I was amazed last night to see the Magellanic Clouds and the Southern Cross for the first time in my life (my first time in the Southern Hemisphere). The iPhone couldn't get the clouds but the stars! It is brilliant.

Many a time I've stood out under night sky on the Nullarbor. Truely amazing, sky looks like spray paint.

I really, really miss the southern night sky. Astrophotography down south is something else
