I'll never get over the fact that the capitalists are so greedy that they couldn't stand having mildly reduced profits under Keynesianism, even though that social contract would have guaranteed their dominance indefinitely

Short-term financial capital gains will always win out over long-term social capital gains, even though those social capital gains will ALSO usually result in financial capital gains too (and usually greater gains also)🤦‍♀️😤
