Oooh yeah for sure, also I might be a bit off on the disk drive price, but for the drive and stand, both sold separately, that’s still over 100 bucks extra… stuff like this is why you can’t really afford making an exclusive title for the thing, people wouldn’t wanna pay that amount for a system.
Yeah the “pro” series just feel like a terrible cash grab attempt….
If I recall a disc drive would run you an additional $100 and a stand would be an extra $30 or so? Either way, that’s friggin insane, it’s no wonder exclusivity has been just a financial failure for companies workin with Sony.
He was certainly a face and voice for a generation of youth, the youngest of which are now in their 30s I’d wager, he certainly lived a long and amazing life, with a career that’ll be remembered for years on end.
FF9 is such an amazing game, being the last on the PS1 and the fact it was a homage to all the previous games with little easter eggs strewn throughout... the game really deserves a remake oneday, its the title that really got me to explore the other games in the franchise! 💜
