FINALLY. That ALWAYS confused me! (yes, I'm white, I'm sorry). I love mythology and religion and theology and all of it. Always seeing Vodou being classified as mythology or "folk practices" drove me nuts. If you spend five minutes researching it, it shows parallels with every system classified
as a religion anywhere in the world. My mistake was trying to find a logical reason Vodou didn't qualify, not a racist one. My bad.
