One of the reasons I cancelled my NYT subscription despite many excellent reporters and some excellent columnists was because its senior management knew EXACTLY what Trump was and let their loathing of Clinton and their dismissal of Trump's chances dictate the Times' coverage of the 2016 election.

I always to to watch people who just discover, generally well into adulthood that the NYT is, and always was, a bunch of out of touch conservatives. Generally they get hyped up as the gold standard for journalism, and high-mountain of liberals people miss the obvious flaws. Very obvious...

Just don't bring it up to their Opinion writers. They are powerless to do anything about the News desk. Utterly powerless. And why would they risk their columns to speak to editors about it anyway? Shut up, readers!
