Thank you! Only 8% of Americans abroad voted in 2020. There are 2 million overseas who can vote in swing states. If we can get one American abroad to vote who can get one American abroad to vote and so on, it could change everything. www.votefromabroad.org

My dad (dual US/Canadian citizen in Ottawa) isn’t registered in a swing state but he’s filling out his ballot soon!

Voting from Japan. Waiting for my ballot from Texas. It says it was mailed out on 9/21. I sent a second query today…should’ve arrived at least a week ago. But this happens every time.

What's shocking about that number is: voting absentee is extremely simple - far simpler than visiting a polling place. It's true that you need a printer, but then it's just a matter of filling in a form, getting it witnessed, and mailing it. Then you can jam your fingers in your ears for 5 weeks.

Unfortunately I vote in NY (not in doubt) but I still do it. I wish I voted in PA. If the under 30 crowd votes in record numbers it will be a blow out for Harris.

that's an excellent resource - thanks. what's the source for the 2M overseas number? and is that number registered voters, or just potentially eligible voters? and is that number swing-state or overall?

Americans abroad really are pushing for this. They have ads all over Facebook in every country to help you register. The Democrats are really working to turn out their vote I hope Republicans are losing interest and won’t vote abroad

TIL that the reason I couldn’t access any government websites in Alabama to get help for my elderly mom was because they block you if you’re overseas. Then again after she died I had to drive to the county records office for a death certificate because their phone didn’t work, even for local calls

My brother has lived in Denmark for 15+ years and votes in every election here in Pima County, Arizona.

Yes! Just voted last week from Finland to Indiana. VERY easy, could email my ballot in. Wish Indiana was a swing state, though... but we did nudge a local from Ohio to do the same, for the first time. That might actually matter.
