It is, and I also think testing is a big deal.
This is good. In my experience as a parent HS English classes are teaching whole books and my kids like them. It’s other classes where they don’t have textbooks. I do think this author downplays testing

My kid uses his phone to read long form fiction almost exclusively. He can't be the only one.
