They're great. There was a large group of them hanging out on a beach in FL last winter. As I walked by, I saw one bird squawking incessantly at another, following it around as it tried to get away & right in its face.Half hour later, saw the same scenario on my way back - still at it! A good laugh.

Great description. I always felt that summer ended when the Red Sox stopped playing. Their very infrequent trips to the playoffs or WS during my growing up years would stretch it a little farther before the curtain fell. Of course now, the interminable playoffs go into November!

I visited St. George Island outside of Apalachicola many years ago. I wondered how this thin strip of barrier beach - half developed and half state park - and nearly level with the ocean, would fare in a storm. The condos were built up on posts but this may be too much. Good luck to all!
