While moderating a panel discussion about "The Promised Land," Long Lead's documentary showing veterans' fight for housing at the West Los Angeles VA campus, Steve Clemons reflected on his time at UCLA, which leases some of the West LA VA's land.

Clemons shared how the misuse of the West LA VA campus "seems to be a blind spot, a black hole, something that's not talked about," especially for those living in Los Angeles.
