At Tesla's annual shareholder meeting Thursday, CEO Elon Musk said the company's jump into humanoid robots could lift its market cap by almost fiftyfold.
Even if you think *a* company could make that much on robots, Boston Dynamics is LIGHTYEARS ahead of Tesla in this space so Tesla as unicorn is objectively asinine. Also, anyone who’s watched their robot vacuum fail to return to home base for 20 minutes is never trusting one to watch their kids.
‘Claims’ and ‘could’ doing some heavy lifting here.
He’s such a firehose of BS, hard to keep up. In April he said Tesla had a couple of robots on the production floor, and by the end of the year they’d be able to fully work on the floor. Unless those jobs involve dancing doesn’t appear that’s coming true.
I guess he promised Optimus prime, but instead delivered Optimus lame...
Musk sells dreams for real money. That's his genius. He is a marketing guy. But he never deliver on time and in full.
