Graphics Tablet stuff: <$1500 Screen: yes Anybody draw on an iPad Pro? I saw it has Clip & I have an iPhone. IOS is ok. Also: Huion - Ok reviews. They're the cost leader They're cheaper somehow tho - bad? Xencelabs - Good? Limited reviews. Cintiq is always overpriced but if it works it works.

procreate feels like it should be illegal for how good it is at $10. it's the only thing I use now. the pen-on-glass experience is hit or miss for some though so try it before you buy. I can almost guarantee there's a store nearby with a demo model.

I use I Pad Pro (with Procreate) most of the time, but when I have to do stuff on my Windows computer I use XP-Pen Pro 16 tablet screen which is in the similar price range with Huion. And yes I do find Wacom products overpriced too, when brands like Huion and XP-Pens can mostly do the same thing.

I have an M1 iPad Pro and I will say that while I'm not exactly a prolific artist, it feels nicer to draw on even than the ThinkPads I've had that had Wacom digitizers One thing to be aware of though is that iPad CSP is a subscription, there's no buy option... Which is dumb IMO.

Drawing on iPad Pro 12.9 in ProCreate with Apple Pencil 2 and a matte/textured screen protector is like drawing on paper with way more options. Do recommend if you like that experience. Have heard Clip Studio works well on it too.

Xencelabs is just the premium side of XP-PEN btw, so it's reliable if pricey.
