I will periodically keep banging on about the importance of all National Trust members voting at the AGM to keep out right-wing 'traditionalist' Restore Trust candidates for the council. Normal service will be resumed later. #SaveOurScones

I remember doing this previously and checking candidate names in advance before realising you could spot them a mile off with descriptions like “focusing the trust away from modern nonsense and onto our proud history”.

I agree; it’s so important. I know the right wing are up to no good but I don’t know what their motives are. What do they expect to gain?
