(In this scenario, that would make classical dragons "true dragons" or something, possibly subdivided into "Western dragons" & "Eastern dragons", and maybe "winged/feathered serpents" as another category alongside true dragons, wyverns, & drakes.)

I kinda look at it as "all squares are rectangles, but not all rectangles are squares", where wyverns (and drakes) are a specific *type* of dragon so calling them "dragons" is technically acceptable even if not quite *accurate*.

I mean that's exactly how it's so close, they see "degenerate sociopath" as a selling point.
