The AMPTP lost all their leverage today by asking for mediators. You can tell because they’re ramping up propaganda. They were planning for a three month strike — not Halloween. They need projects up again or they’ll get killed after their quarterly earnings calls end of July.

I think it’s a power thing. They think we’re lower on the pecking order. So they single out Natives to police.

Definitely. There’s a big overlap. But I see a lot of liberals harassing Natives too. Lots of lateral oppression too. It’s subtle but I see so many people bother Natives online for things they don’t harass anyone else about.

Native mascots don’t seen that harmful on the surface, but they unconsciously teach people it’s okay to turn us into a spectacle, that it’s okay to bother us for entertainment. That we’re not real people.

There’s an unconscious bias against Natives. It ranges from Bank Loans to Facebook claiming our names are fake. But online it’s hard for non-Natives to see. But it becomes obvious when it’s random and unwarranted. And seemingly every time, if you look they’re fans of Native mascots.
