What do you write on it? I had always wanted one, but given the current environment, I felt that I have nothing to write about (same goes my fountain pen obsession, so many pens, nothing to write about).

There are many good fountain pens in the $10-$20USD range, and also many Chinese pens are sub $10 (quality control might be an issue).

There's also a Jinhao A10 that just came out that's another take on Pilot VP. I wonder how the two knock-offs compare.

I use cheap Chinese ink, Hero, Ostrich, and some without brands. I also use regular boring colors such as red, blue, black, blue-black, so they'll do.

The A1 is a solid pen, hope you'll enjoy it.
