During the past week, nearly 36,000 Americans were hospitalized with COVID, the highest since January 2023. Over the last two weeks, there were 4,262 COVID deaths. This is the 18th week in a row with more than 1,000 new deaths in the US. The pandemic is not over.
Didn't know the numbers... is that high
Just take solace that at least it's almost exclusively antivaxxers dying at this point.
So many refuse to look at the numbers. They bury their heads in the sand like it's going away on it's own even when the numbers are rising. Mass misinformation and fear fuelled by political power and greed is causing another epidemic of a different kind now.
It's over
My fiancée and I got COVID for the first time in early December. It's been over a month and I still wake up coughing and wheezing every night. I'm so glad I'm vaxxed cause if not who knows how much worse it could have been. People need to take this stuff seriously.
Dr. Tran, someone I know was looking for a source for the death numbers, do you have one I could share?
