We are finally getting updated COVID vaccines. But the CDC's Bridge Access Program, which provides COVID vaccines for free to people who are underinsured, is ending this month. What is the point of having public health tools if the people who need them most can't access them?

People have to PAY for a vaccine that fights a worldwide pandemic that killed 1 million Americans? PAY??? WTHeck Sorry I just don’t get how that is acceptable.

I have a friend who made an appointment, went to the pharmacy, and the pharmacist would administer the vaccine. It sounds like this is happening more in rural areas. Yes she lodged a complaint.

You can’t. They’re not available before the program ends unless something changes. The new ones anyways.

Canadian here, I'm curious. I know the US doesn't have a healthcare system like we do.. but even COVID vaccines are not universally free?!

Is there another updated one? I've not seen or heard anything about it if there is. Also having had COVID this year...even if its mostly or fully covered by insurance the pills SUCK. Twice a day 3 massively huge pills that also have horrible aftertaste even if you mange to swallow them.
