Ravena Guron's This Book Kills is a good follow on from Robin Stevens...plus i guess thats why McManus/ Holly Jackson etc are popular? Maybe not cosy enough though!

I blame school. The step up in homework etc at the start of secondary is huge. There's very little other than manga that feels age appropriate, but is short and easy. Barrington Stoke are so great for that, but not mainstream enough maybe?
