Labour risk playing too softly. They are in a position to move the dial significantly but are being far too cautious. EU Commission will expect to see larger gestures from Government on youth mobility, work visas, mutal agreement of professional qualifications and veterinary/SPS.
After years of being told to fuck off by the ERG, the Riot master and Fascist friends and power hungry Tories, it might take a while to prove that sanity is prevalent in the UK.
The reality is EU is not the Nirvana people imagine, it has had & has many issues/challenges. In truth as has most of the world. Imagine if 8 years had been spent trying to build UK, make Brexit a success instead of the obsessive, obstructive, whining for an EU fairytale more imagined than real.
