Yeah I’ve stopped using it outside of sharing when a new video is out on YouTube. It’s just not fun anymore.

I have to semi-regularly use Twitter for work, and it's so miserable now. It's by no means the sole problem, but the proliferation of open Nazis with blue checks getting pushed to the top of everyone's replies has been uniquely alienating.
It's tediously nasty
most people were never gonna leave over isolated examples of ownership stupidity. everyone will leave, though, when the degradation starts to affect your daily experience with the platform.
recommendation: anyone reading who's still torn, uninstall the app if you haven't already and use the web interface for a few weeks. even more dogshit experience will make you more likely to quit altogether
