Firm believer that ppl can have a problematic past and acknowledge that while trying to be better people and working on themselves. And that they should be left alone to change and grow as people.

As a person who used to be problematic years ago because of groups I was in and my delusions being encouraged + misinformation about my plurality being fed to me before I had others to smarten me up and hand me correct info i agree with this heavily

Some people don’t get this but I think it’s very simple fact . Idk what some folks don’t understand about how people can grow and change. Even if someone is bad/problematic, they can take accountability and improve (aside from, as you said, abusers and groomers)
