And old episodes of NOVA are playing on the tv for whenever I feel like a break. Nothing is hurried today.

Having what feels like a rare domestic day - cleaning, food preparation for the week, general nest maintenance. It’s partly that I don’t have any errands or commitments today, but it also that I actually feel rested, so i have the energy and brain space to tackle this stuff.

I’m 38 and spent the entire day on my feet at work. Now every joint aches. This… does not bode well for the aging thing.

I’m so excited for a whole weekend of not having to be on my feet all day.
