and now for my true passion - CLAURENZ !!! these are all commissioned works done for my dear friend @sebastianfantastic.bsky.social for his regency au wip, which has such delightful flavors as Rake Claude, Closeted Transmasc Lorenz, and endless gay pining.

digital art in gold and brown tones. on the left side of the canvas, lorenz pauses most of the way up a golden-colored grassy hill. he is wearing brown breeches, white socks and brown ankle boots, and a flowy linen shirt with an unbuttoned pink-brown vest over it. there's a single red rose tucked into his buttonhole. his hair is cut short around his chin like his three hopes hairstyle. there's a surprised, entranced expression on his face as he looks at claude. claude stands in the right side of the canvas, much closer to the viewer but turned toward lorenz so you can only see the back of his head, and the tiniest peek of his eyebrow and eyelash. his hair is ruffled and curly, in the style he wears in three hopes. he wears a gold-tan walking jacket with short tails, white breeches and gloves, and knee-high brown boots. there are sparkles and sunbeams that point from lorenz toward claude, and the sky is almost purple blue.
lorenz and claude at a grand piano. lorenz, in a 1700's style old-fashioned gown in pale purple, sits at the piano with hands positioned as if he's playing, but his attention is on claude, who leans idly on the music desk of the piano to turn lorenz's sheet music pages. claude, who's dressed in a dark purple evening jacket, pale gold waistcoat, brown pants, and a white cravat and gloves, is also distracted, pausing in the act of turning a page so he can make eye contact with lorenz.
claude and lorenz, this time at a ball. the background is extremely fancy, with gold and cream detailing on the walls and a polished wood floor. lorenz is again dressed in an old-fashioned gown, this one made of purple and gold brocade patterned with roses, with a white underskirt and lavender silk ribbon embellishments and ruffles. his hair is held back from his face by a light gold and pearl clip. claude's dressed in navy blue coat, light yellow waistcoat, and white breeches, gloves, shirt, and cravat. lorenz is tucking his hair behind his ear shyly, but claude is adjusting his cuffs with a pleased expression, as if to say "okay, let's do this." behind them are felix and dimitri, who are dressed in blues and greens and having a conversation, as well as ferdinand and hilda, who are dressed in pink, red, and white, and are dancing together.
claude and lorenz in a garden pavilion, colored in hazy greys, purples and blues to evoke pre-dawn light. lorenz has his hands on either side of claude's face, drawing him into a desperate kiss, but neither of them look happy at all, even as they sway toward each other. claude's eyes are half-open and his mouth is open as if lorenz had drawn him into a kiss mid-sentence. one of claude's hands is hesitantly resting on lorenz's waist, and the other is wrapped around lorenz's wrist. both of them are dressed down, only wearing shirts and breeches in shades of tan and brown, and lorenz is wearing plain leather flats, whereas claude is wearing the tall brown boots from the first illustration. around the pavilion they're in are bushes laden with pink and red roses.
