claurenz double uno reverse little mermaid au… what if you were a prince and a merman saved you from drowning, and you spend weeks pining after the merman so you decide to make a bargain with a witch to turn into a merman yourself to find him. BUT at the same time the little mermaid was happening

claude falls into merman lorenz's arms. lorenz has a pale purple tail and very long hair with some of it pulled into a bun at the back of his head, and he wears a piece of floaty lavender cloth wrapped around his body that rests in the crook of his elbows. his ears are replaced with ruffly fins that fade from dark pink to dark purple to lavender. claude is unconscious, his hair floating around his head in the water, and has an almost peaceful expression as bubbles slip past his lips. he's wearing a white shirt that's gone see-through, tight brown pants, and navy blue boots with golden diamond-shaped studs, and there are bubbles all around him, like he fell into the water hard.

a five panel comic. in the first panel, lorenz is walking past a window, and looks out it curiously. he's got butt-length hair that's partially pulled into a braided crown, and he's wearing high-waisted lavender pants and a puffy white shirt that's open to show off his pecs. there are also five parallel scars on his neck where his gills used to be.
in the second panel, claude is seen from a distance, standing in the surf and looking out to the ocean. he's only wearing a pair of tan knee-length breeches, and he's got some kind of bottle in his hand.
the third panel is a transformation sequence with a dark blue background and a white lightning bolt connecting the four parts. in the first part, claude is seen from the waist up, tipping something bright green into his mouth from a vial. then he's seen from mid-thigh and he drops the vial, doubling over and clutching his throat with an agonized expression. then his whole body can be seen — he's still clutching his throat, but he's fallen to his knees. his ears are pointed now, and five angry red gills have opened up on the side of his neck, and his legs are fusing into a green and gold-scaled mermaid tail, but patches of his skin are still visible. then he's on his side, his back to the viewer, with one elbow up as if he's trying to push himself up. the tail is fully formed, and there are raw gill slits on his ribs, and scattered scales on the nape of his neck, ribs, shoulders, and elbows.
in the fourth panel, once again seen from lorenz's point of view, claude, now fully transformed into a merman, uses his arms to drag himself into the surf. he looks pretty silly.
the final panel is lorenz leaning out of the window, bent over with both hands on the sill. his face has an expression of comical dismay and annoyance — you get the sense that if he could talk, he'd be saying "oh you have got to be fucking kidding me"
