I find it striking how in the aftermath of Helene, libraries are providing crucial community services like free wifi while cops are guarding stores with rotting food from potential "looters" instead of serving and protecting people. Worth considering how we spend local funding.
The first time I saw this comic on X, the everything app, it made me a little sad because it reminded me of my dad's alzheimer taking away everything he ever was. But at no point did I perceive that as something you needed to be held accountable for. People need to be a little more charitable.
