I think this actually looks more like sunburn, especially if it wasn't getting light at the store and then was moved to a new location with full sun. It could also be rot though 😟 If the stem is black, it can't be saved but the leaves might still be healthy enough to tear off and try to propagate.

It was on a kitchen counter about 8ft away from to some large windows, so it was getting indirect sunlight only. The leaves have been drooping for weeks but the brown spots seemed to show up suddenly Should I pull off the leaves that are doing poorly?
