If you are not on a URL show lineup/IRL show lineup/a compilation/whatever group event is happening, do not take it upon yourself to attempt to invite yourself or insert yourself in. It will guarantee that you will never get on any of these events and word does spread. It's a turn off. Don't do it.

While I don't think folks should necessarily NOT ask the question, the energy matters a lot. And for so many of them, the energy SUCKS. It's always some lazy vapor-bro who thinks shameless self-promo is the answer, not actual connections, & has zero clue how much work goes into planning URL shows. 😗
