Everybody had their brat summer, I had my “do it for the plot” summer: nine weeks of hospital, getting fired (excuse me, my contract wasn’t extended) totally unrelated to me being in the hospital, having to juggle German bureaucracy, and getting your car towed while juggling German bureaucracy.
