Do any of the folks you mentioned have a "here's how you get from scratch to finished model" tutorial geared toward someone who knows basically nothing about Blender? Or is there someone else you might recommend? I want to learn Blender but I need help over that initial steep curve.

Never knew the guy was that far off in "complete nutjob" territory, but I really did notice that his tutorials would have about one nugget of useful info every maybe 30s, and that's me measuring the highest rate, not the average. So yeah, they dragged on forever and my ADHD self got bored.

YouTube doesn't want to deliver you good concise information. They want you to remain watching. Consuming. So something like an Ian Hubert video that shows you how to take a photo of a building, and turn it into a whole 3d asset in less than 5 minutes won't get recommended by the algo.

I knew he started getting on the NFT shill train around when I started learning Blender, but I must've moved on to watching other Blender creators before the "I miss slurs" part.

Grant Abbott also has a really relaxing voice. Makes the whole process very peaceful!

Admittedly I wasn't remotely interested in making 'the donut' anyway and have been absolutely avoiding even starting trying to learn Blender While I might not jump on starting right away, I can at least start poking at these alternatives and see if there is one I vibe with more than the other
