When politicians and media foghorns demand that we don’t talk about Brexit, I always remember these wise words from Martin Samuel (Times journalist) and pledge to honour them.

Never be scared to mention Brexit.
It did make everything immeasurably worse. It did make the country poorer. It was an absolutely ruinous act of self-harm. And you predicted it. You were right. Massively right. You probably won’t be that right again your entire life. Own that. Don’t be shy.
