At least you DO the laundry. As far as Iām concerned, you can pull your clean clothes out of your basket all week.
Iāve been making art for most of my long life. I have steadily improved, mostly from continuously making art. After all these years, what I make never looks like what I think in my brain. Itās not a problem, itās problem solving.

New marbleized plates (and shards of the big one that didnāt make it) going into todayās bisque firing. Next weekend I hope they will be glazed and in place at BWAC (481 Van Brunt Street, Brooklyn, 11231, weekends), for the season opening. Iāll be there on Sunday. Come visit!

Iām playing with marbleized clayādark brown stoneware and porcelain. I donāt know if it will lead to a body of work, but Iām having fun. Now to figure out glazingš

Yeahāporcelain definitely wants a more delicate touch. I also leave more clay in the floor, to support the curve, to be trimmed out later. You can also try different porcelains; they all throw differently
