I went to Almonte today. We had lunch and walked around it and down the boardwalk.

My late stepfather was from Almonte! It’s not a name I hear often. I was there a few years ago to visit “cousins” and was shocked at how gentrified it’s become, not the mill town it was in his day. Thanks for nudging up a memory!
