Forgot to post yesterday but for me I had a quality trap with Scarce Bordered Straw first since 2017. 4 Radford's Flame Shoulder only my second record with the first in 2021 and a single White-point not common here but almost annual.

A little colour in the morning trap with Merveille du Jour and Pink-barred Sallow and a European Corn Borer all new for the year.

Jackie and I visited the Lower Piddle Floods this morning seems much had left or was hidden from view or out in the harbour. Green Sandpiper, Teal, Shoveler, Mallard, Lapwing, pair Kestrel, Sparrowhawk. The highlight of the morning was an immature Hobby. Though light was awful I managed a few shots.

It has taken 12 years to record Southern Hawker in the garden and now we've had the second female to oviposit in the garden pond in just a few weeks.
