I tried to read the latest story about Gaiman and I just... could not. The original transcript was so viscerally, horribly familiar that it made me sick. Seeing people on the timeline trying to justify the behavior as consensual made it worse. We still have so much to learn about power.
One day I hope we live in a land where the social safety net isnât Flavor Flav paying your rent.

The true story is much more complex than can be explained clearly in a handful of rage tweets.
If I may be frank: too many leftists are looking for absolution of the sin of being American, rather than the power to effect concrete changes. If it's absolution you want, get religion. There's work to be done otherwise.
