This weekend I: wrangled plans for my session at Greenbelt hosting a convo about the religion of the future; wrote and recorded a talk on the sustainability of the Unitarian movement for our Summer School this week; picked elderberries and made jars of EB vinegar and vodka. Felt like good work

Still chewing over a lovely convo with @lloyddavis.bsky.social yesterday about the parallels between ‘I miss old twitter’ and ‘this church used to be full’, and between walled gardens and rigid religious institutions vs decentralised platforms and liberal faith. Hurrah for nichely nerdy friendships!
This afternoon, in the bright cold sunshine, I picked a pocketful of rosehips on the walk between the Buddhist monastery and the pub, and now I’ve turned them into a little jar of rosehip syrup, and really I’m quite happy with that as a Sunday
